Ms. Ngeow has 23 years of experience in this legal field. She graduated from Middlesex University London with a degree in Law in year 1998. She was called and admitted as an Advocates & Solicitors in the High Court of Malaya in the year 2000. She has also obtained her Master in Law from University Malaya in the year 2003.
She is also active in civil society movement and is onboard of numerous defence teams with other lawyers on human right cases. She has also worked as a researcher on a project relating to Intellectual Property Rights during 2004-2005 with an international NGO.
She holds high level committee positions in numerous non-governmental organisations. She is the Treasurer for BERSIH and Treasurer for National Human Rights Society (HAKAM). Previously, she held executive committee positions in Anti-Death Penalty Asia Network (ADPAN) and Teoh Beng Hock Trust For Democracy (held). She was also the Vice Chairperson for Civil Rights Committee of Kuala Lumpur & Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall. She is also currently the adviser to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia. She is also the Co-Founder of PROJECT 6CHILDREN.
Ms. Ngeow has authored and co-authored numerous articles on anti death penalty movements.
